About Ariavor
Ariavor is a data and AI consultancy that builds governed data foundations for reliable reporting, better decisions and context-aware AI.
The idea behind the work is Ariadne’s thread. In Greek mythology the thread made it possible to navigate a structure that was otherwise impossible to understand from the inside, and that is a useful analogy for modern enterprise data.
Companies rarely lack information, but they often lack a coherent path through it. Business logic is scattered across source systems, spreadsheets, data warehouses and reports, so definitions conflict and every new dashboard or AI initiative risks adding one more interpretation.
Ariavor creates the connecting structure. We design governed data models in which measures, relationships and definitions are established once and reused across reporting and AI, so the result is more than better dashboards: it is a shared representation of the business that people and intelligent systems can rely on.
Who does the work
I spent my first four years inside controlling, closing books and defending the numbers in them to people with every reason to question them. That is where I learned that a reporting problem is rarely about reporting, since it is usually a definition nobody owns, built two ways by two people who are both right under rules neither of them wrote down.
Eleven years of BI consulting across Europe followed, in Power BI, DAX, Microsoft Fabric and the data architecture underneath them. Plenty of people can write the DAX, but far fewer know what the figure is supposed to mean before anyone writes it, and the controlling years are the reason I ask that question first.
I lead every engagement myself, from the first call through to handover, so the person who scopes the problem is the person who solves it.
